CutePanda’s post for this week related to the same news as I did. But the content that CutePanda wanted to share with people is quite different from mine. I focused more on criticize those who maliciously raise prices, where CutePanda focused more on criticize those who “do such terrible thing just for their stomach.”
I have the same feeling with him. In the past few decades, the Chinese are labeled “Eat Everything.” Many people in other countries dislike Chinese because of that. But some people in China still maintain Old-time thought; they still believe that Wild animals can keep them healthy. Recently I was on Weibo(Chinese “Twitter”), and there is a lot of people who claim that they couldn’t understand why people will eat wild animals. And believe me, 98% of Chinese people actively resist to eat wild animals.
From my perspective, I hate those people who brought Coronavirus to the entire society. Because a couple of years ago, Chinese government clearly states that people are not allowed to eat wild animals since they might carry a virus. However, they still eat it for their own selfish desires. As a result, billions of people in Chinese are going to pay for their selfish behavior. As of now, 1975 people have been confirmed affected, 2684 people have suspected symptoms, and 56 people are dead. Why there are so many innocent people need to pay their life to those selfish behaviors? Why doctors and nurses need to keep working at the lunar new year’s eve?
Overall, human need to obey the rules of the nature. and we also need to consider all the possible consequences before we made any decision. Hope there is no more wild animals will be killed for food, and the Coronavirus will be stopped soon.
